My favorite children’s book is Rain, Rain, Go Away.

My favorite childhood toy was a doll I named “Shekey” because she looked just like me.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My greatest inspiration is my father, who always believed in and supported my dream of becoming a clinician.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Outside of work, I enjoy cooking and reading, as well as creative arts such as writing, playing the piano, listening to music, painting, and DIY projects.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I want to address discrepancies in healthcare for underserved communities. I believe that Influencing the youth of a community will establish patterns of a healthy lifestyle that will transcend from childhood to adulthood.
