What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
My favorite animated shows and movies are Bluey, Rapunzel, Sleeping Beauty, and Gabby’s Dollhouse.
What is your favorite children's book?
My favorite children’s book is Pete the Cat: I Love My White Shoes because it is such a fun one to read with my son.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My favorite childhood toys were playing card games and Barbies.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My greatest inspiration is my kids, for their resilience and optimism for life.
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
Love any sort of travelling, downtime on the lake.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
I've always been drawn to working with kids. At first I wanted to be a teacher, but as I got older I realized I wanted to help the sick ones and keep the healthy kids healthy!
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
Being Hispanic, family is a very big part of my life. I'd like to think that my patients come to feel as though they are part of my family when they come to see me.
