Q&A with Terry
What is your favorite animated movie or cartoon?
I always have and always will love 'Shrek'.
What is your favorite children's book?
"Where is Waldo". Not just for the fun, but because it reminded me that we have to search for the things that we really want to find.
What was your favorite childhood toy?
My favorite childhood toys were Legos and Hot Wheels.
Who is your greatest inspiration?
My little league football coach, Coach Rholly. His words that echo with me to this day are, "Son, those who do not try will never achieve. Those who achieve, always tried. Never stop trying."
What are your hobbies and interests outside of work?
My hobbies and interests outside of work include boating, scuba diving, working out, running, and traveling.
What inspired you to work in pediatrics?
As a child I always looked up to those who made an impact in my life, including my Family Physician. She always took the time to find the good in me and the opportunity that awaited me physically, mentally, and spiritually. I too, aspired to be this for all the pediatric patients that I see.
What unique qualities, skills, or services set you apart, and how do you build a positive rapport with patients and their families?
I treat all of my patients and families as if they were part of my own family.
