Dr. Roques was born and raised in the Dominican Republic, where he attended medical school at Universidad Iberoamericana (UNIBE). He later moved to New York City to complete his pediatric residency at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center, affiliated with Weill Cornell Medical College, in the Bronx. He has a special interest in preventive medicine and research, and he completed a research fellowship through the ECRIP program at Lincoln Medical and Mental Health Center.

My greatest inspiration is my parents.

My hobbies and interests outside of work include jogging and reading.

What inspired you to work in pediatrics?

I was inspired by my godmother, who used to take me to her pediatric practice as a child as I showed interest in becoming a doctor at a young age. The care and dedication she placed on her patients inspired me to become a Pediatrician.
